Robert Sinskey POV (Point of View) Napa Valley 2018 - ORGANIC Robert Sinskey utilizes the great vineyards in his Los Carneros holding that used to comprise his Vineyard Reserve wine and now has created the POV (or his Point of View). Rob is very tight-lipped about the blend on this wine referring to it as just a blend of Bordeaux varietals. Suffice it to say that there is a pretty good dollop of Merlot and Cabernet Franc in there to go with some Cabernet Sauvignon and this black currant, plum, pepper and cassis filled wine is joyful stuff. A Right Bank blend reminiscent of excellent St Emilion, enjoy this now through 2030. Maitre de Chai Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 Over the past decade, Maître de Chai has earned its place in the fine wine arena. Their growing reputation has granted them access to incredible vineyards in the Napa Valley, and when Alex and Marty stumbled upon the Gala Mountain Vineyard, they knew they needed to work this land, despite Cabernet no being part of their initial plan. This is Napa Cabernet closer to what we imagine it was in the 1970s, bottles that still provide astounding pleasure today. Vibrant, versatile and delicious now, but we expect this has the stuffing to go 10 years or more in your cellar. Winning bidder may pick up at our office in Boonton by appointment.
